What is Giclee printing?

Giclee printing
(pronounced gee-clay).
Giclee prints are museum quality reproductions of original art from traditional media, by means of an inkjet printer using advanced pigment ink technology.
Usually output to canvas or archival acid free fine art papers.
Rich colour saturation, fine detail and print longevity are hallmarks of Giclee printing, making it well received among artists and art communities.


What size prints can you do?

Up to A2+ = Maximum width for roll paper or canvas is 431mm x any length
Up to A2 = Maximum width for cut sheet paper  420 x 594mm

What printer and inks do you use?

We use a 12 colour cartridge printer. The  Canon ipf5000.
Lucia pigment inks


Do yo do scanning?

We do high resolution scans for prints we make. This includes negatives, slides, old photos and documents, photo restoration and conservation work.
Scanning artwork for artists, or negatives and slides for photographers.
Artwork must be of a manageable size for flatbed. We photograph larger canvas' or artwork for prints up to A2 size.
