Step 1. Scanning
We do high resolution scans for prints we make. This includes negatives, slides, old photos and documents, photo restoration and conservation work.Scanning artwork for artists, or negatives and slides for photographers. We photograph larger canvas or artwork for prints up to A2 size. The scan is then processed in Step 2, the proofing stage.
Step 2. Proofing
The process to generate a series of test strips of the reproduction to show the artist. Adjustments are then made and a new test strip is generated. This process continues until the test strip matches the original artwork as closely as possible. Or in the case of a digital photograph corrects colour, contrast and sharpening to maximize print quality and photographer's requirements.
Step 3. Printing and Finishing
Our giclee art prints are created on a variety of fine art inkjet media and printed on the imagePROGRAF iPF6100 Wide Format Printer from Canon, capable of producing quality colour prints up to up to 24 inch wide on cut sheet or roll.Vivid colour reproduction.The Canon iPF6100 employs 12 Separate Ink Tanks using Pigment based ink. With a print resolution of 2400x1200 dpi, your digital images can be brought to life in life size!
